Leave a Legacy with Planned Giving

From simple bequests to complex estate plans to life income gifts, Jefferson Community Foundation offers opportunities to make your mark by leaving a legacy. Many people choose to leave charitable assets or gifts to JCF through their estates. JCF offers significant expertise in planned gifts. It is a special kind of donor who provides for the future of our community by making a legacy gift. Through a planned gift from your estate, we provide long-term stewardship of your charitable wishes. Your generosity and foresight allocate resources to our nonprofit organizations for decades to come.

We came to Jefferson County several years ago from a larger city and had included that city’s Community Foundation in our bequests. We recognize that smaller communities have a more difficult time raising funds for charitable endeavors, and with this in mind, we looked at JCF when revising our wills.  We were impressed with the range of programs JCF already supports, and found numerous ways in which our interests fit perfectly with the options, including education, the arts, and food insecurity. This motivated us to support our community by establishing a legacy gift to JCF.
