Through fiscal sponsorship, JCF provided Working Image with accounting, oversight, and back office support while their 501 C3 was in process. Working Image serves low-income women from Jefferson, Clallam & Kitsap counties who are seeking interviews, job stability or promotions. While providing complete work-appropriate outfits selected specifically for the woman being served, trained volunteers provide information and support to bolster a woman’s confidence and ability to put their best foot forward, whether in an interview or in basic job performance. Each woman seeking employment receives three interview appropriate outfits and/or a week’s worth of clothing when she gets her job.
PORT TOWNSEND SCHOOL OF WOODWORKING & PRESERVATION TRADES
When Port Townsend School of Woodworking approached JCF to provide fiscal sponsorship in their pursuit of creating a high quality educational program in Historic Preservation, it seemed like a natural fit for our community. Preserving historic buildings in communities is a goal, but it will not happen without the experienced craftspeople to do it. Port Townsend School of Woodworking and Preservation Trades provides that important link and JCF was proud to provide fiscal sponsorship as they pursued their 501 C3 status.
