GRANT WRITERS FORUM

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Proposal Deadline: March 31, 2019

Jefferson Community Foundation (JCF) will award $10,000 to a local nonprofit that addresses housing solutions Jefferson County, WA. Proposals will be accepted for mission driven programs or general operations.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

The funded organization will:

• Be a tax exempt 501c3 organization registered with the IRS, be fiscally sponsored by a tax exempt 501c3, or a community serving government agency benefiting people in Jefferson County

• Meet the need for housing solutions in Jefferson County

• Have a track record of successfully delivering housing-related programs or services in the past with measurable results based on data

• Be available to attend the Grant Writers Forum on April 16, 17 or 19, 2019 (to be confirmed)

SELECTION PROCESS:

Of all of the proposals received, 10 will be selected by JCF staff for further consideration by a panel of three jurists, all of whom are experienced grant makers. Each of the nonprofits who have proposals under consideration by the panel are required to send a representative to the Grant Writer’s Forum. All other nonprofits in Jefferson County will also be invited to attend. During this review session, the panelists will undertake an open review of each one of the proposals under consideration and will make a final decision about which will be awarded the $10,000 grant.

DEADLINE:

Proposals are due Sunday, March 31, 2018. Please include the application, narrative and proposal-related budget in a single PDF file. Other attachments can be sent as individual documents. The proposal will be accepted by email at jen@jcfgives.org
