Jefferson Community Foundation’s Non-Profit Alliance held the first workshop of 2017 on February 21st. Claudia Edmondson presented the workshop “Evaluation is Not a Four Letter Word”, providing tools for developing measures for outcomes in grant writing. The Community Foundation  presented the RFP for this year’s Endowment Grant which is a $19,000 “Partnering for Resiliency” grant to encourage two or more non-profits to work in partnership on a program or project to benefit the community. Applications for this grant are due in the JCF office before 5 pm on Friday April 14th. The grants will then be reviewed on May 3, 2017 when the Non-Profit Alliance again meets to learn and hear from a panel of reviewers who will share the grants that have been written and share thoughts about what was done well and what might be improved for future grant writing. The grant will be awarded at the conclusion of the workshop on May 3rd. Any questions may be directed to Debbie Reid, JCF Executive Assistant at 360-385-1729.Download the RFP here: JCF 2017 Grant Makers Proposal
