Jefferson Community Foundation’s Fund for Women & Girls (FW&G) is pleased to announce a grant of $8,200 will be awarded to a Jefferson County nonprofit that creates an innovative project with a focus on women’s and/or girls’ health. The Fund for Women and Girls (FW&G) is dedicated to changing lives so women and girls are safe, secure, equal, and empowered to reach their full potential.
“We are excited to be able to offer a local nonprofit the opportunity for a $8,200 grant. While there are solutions needed for the many challenges facing women and girls, the 2017-18 FW&G grant cycle has chosen to focus on women’s and/or girls’ health issues” says Judith Chambliss, Chair of the FW& Grant Committee. “We invite projects that are imaginative and innovative, which also make best use of the nonprofit’s strengths and services.”
Applications are due by 5:00 pm on Monday, October 2, 2017. The grant will be awarded in November, 2017.
